Online Chat Representative

An Online Chat Representative provides customer support through live chat, messaging platforms, or email. The role involves answering customer questions, resolving issues, providing product or service information, and ensuring a positive customer experience without handling phone calls in many cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries through live chat promptly and professionally.
• Assist customers with orders, billing, account information, and product questions.
• Troubleshoot basic technical or service issues.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
• Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM or ticketing system.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Meet productivity goals, including response time, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and resolution rates.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Stay up to date on products, services, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred).
• 02 years of customer service or chat support experience.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Strong typing skills (typically 3550+ WPM).
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable internet connection for remote work.

• Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk, or HubSpot.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
