Welder & Fabricator

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $27.00/hour

We are seeking an experienced Welder & Fabricator to join our growing team on 1st shift. This position focuses on precision fabrication, quality welding, and assembling metal components in a clean, organized shop environment. If you take pride in craftsmanship and enjoy working with structural steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Perform welding using:
  • MIG (GMAW)
  • TIG (GTAW)
  • Flux Core (FCAW)
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot fit-up and alignment issues during fabrication and assembly.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes and other shop tools.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of fabrication experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding.
• Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work onsite in a fabrication shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural or construction-related fabrication experience.
• Press brake experience.
• Assembly and fit-up experience.
• LBW welding experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montoursville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
