Activities AssistantDel Rosa Post Acute is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create meaningful experiences that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being of our residents.If you enjoy working with seniors, have a positive attitude, and love helping others stay active and engaged, we'd love to hear from you.Position SummaryThe Activities Assistant supports the Activities Department by planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities designed to enrich the lives of residents and promote a positive living environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning and implementation of daily activity programsLead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, music programs, and social eventsEncourage resident participation and engagement in activitiesProvide one-on-one visits to residents who are unable or unwilling to attend group activitiesAssist with community outings and special events as neededHelp decorate the facility for holidays, celebrations, and resident eventsTransport residents to and from activities when necessaryMaintain activity calendars, attendance records, and documentation as assignedEnsure activities are conducted in a safe, respectful, and inclusive mannerCollaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident quality of lifeQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in activities, recreation, customer service, healthcare, senior living, or related fields preferredCompassionate, energetic, and resident-focused attitudeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCreative, organized, and dependableExperience working with elderly individuals or those in a healthcare setting is a plusBenefitsEligible employees may enjoy:Competitive compensationMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off401(k)Employee Assistance ProgramOpportunities for training and career growthSupportive team environmentWhy Join Del Rosa Post Acute?At Del Rosa Post Acute, we believe quality of life is just as important as quality of care.
