ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER / SALES MANAGER - FINE JEWELRY Location: San Gabriel, Los Angeles, CA
Work Arrangement: On-site
Base Pay: $30-$35/hour
Estimated Total Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 annually Schedule: 40 hours per week with two days off; rotating weekends and scheduled holidays
Language Requirement: Fluent written and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese, and English
POSITION OVERVIEW Our client, an internationally established fine-jewelry company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager or Sales Manager to drive sales, support branch operations, develop employees, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Candidates with stronger retail-management experience may be considered directly for the Sales Manager level.
WHAT YOU'LL DO • Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team of approximately 8-15 employees
• Drive branch sales through client development, merchandising, and promotions
• Build lasting relationships with new and returning customers
• Deliver a personalized, professional fine-jewelry shopping experience
• Support branch sales, operational, and financial KPIs
• Train employees and improve individual and team performance
• Resolve escalated customer-service concerns
• Identify opportunities to improve branch workflows and efficiency
• Maintain compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Use POS systems and business applications to support daily operations
WHAT YOU'LL BRING • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, including written and spoken communication
• Approximately 4+ years of jewelry retail, jewelry sales, or related jewelry customer-service experience
• Strong knowledge of jewelry products, merchandising, and retail sales practices
• Proven sales performance and customer relationship-building skills
• Supervisory, leadership, or retail-management experience preferred
• Ability to coach employees and motivate a team toward sales goals
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of retail compliance, internal controls, and risk-management practices
• Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Availability to work rotating weekends and scheduled holidays
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Base pay of $30-$35 per hour, based on experience and interview performance
• Monthly attendance and meal allowance of approximately $300-$400
• Average monthly bonus and commission of approximately $1,300-$1,800, based on store performance
• Estimated total annual compensation of approximately $100,000-$150,000, subject to experience, sales performance, store results, position level, and business performance
