Position Summary: As a Group Fitness Instructor at Crunch Fitness, you will be responsible for leading engaging, safe, and dynamic group exercise classes. You will inspire members of all fitness levels, cultivate a positive community, and deliver world-class workouts across our studio formats.
Key Responsibilities: - Instructors deliver "WOW" class experiences by leading high-energy, safe, and effective workouts that engage, motivate, and keep members coming back.
- You will build community and connection by fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment before and after class-building emotional connections, soliciting feedback, and inspiring members to reach their goals.
- Instructors master the cue and beat by combining exceptional musicality with clear, proactive verbal and visual cues to guide participants smoothly through each movement.
- You will provide smart modifications by demonstrating proper form and technique, offering seamless progressions and regressions so every member feels confident and safe.
- Instructors actively drive attendance and buzz by promoting their schedule, leveraging social media to build class volume, and cross-promoting other group fitness formats and personal training.
- Additionally, you will maintain studio excellence by ensuring studio cleanliness, inspecting equipment for safety before and after class, and tracking attendance accurately.
Class Categories Offered at Crunch: We offer specialized group fitness experiences across our main studio, hot studio, ride studio, and functional turf area.
- The HIITZone features proprietary, team-based functional training on the turf with high-intensity interval formats like Strong-er HIIT, ExtremeHIIT, and Bodyweb w/ TRX®.
- The Hot Studio offers heated-studio classes designed for core strength, flexibility, and detoxifying sweat, including Hot Yoga Flow, Hot Pilates Mat, Hot Core, and Yoga Body Sculpt.
- The Ride provides high-energy, pulse-pounding rhythm and endurance indoor cycling workouts like The Ride and Express Ride.
- Group Strength & Sculpt classes utilize dumbbells, bars, and body weight for resistance and conditioning in formats like Transform it: Strong, Barre Bootcamp, and Cardio Sculpt.
- Cardio & Dance routines bring high-calorie-burn, party energy to the studio with formats like ZUMBA®, Fat Burning Pilates, and Dance Cardio.
- Combatives & Kickboxing offers martial-arts and striking drills focused on cardiovascular endurance with classes like Cardio Tai Box and Cardio TKO.
Qualifications & Skills: - Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months of group exercise teaching experience preferred, along with a current Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM) or a specialized format certification (Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, TRX, Indoor Cycling, etc.).
- A current CPR/AED certification is required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Candidates must demonstrate exceptional public speaking skills, strong musicality with the ability to cue to the beat, and the ability to modify exercises for diverse fitness levels.
- Above all, you must be dependable, upbeat, and fiercely dedicated to creating a "No Judgments" environment.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour
